Try this link - it's pretty straight forward:

http://www.infinitihelp.com/diy/gsed...eplacement.htm

It should be as simple as removing the glove box (pops off) and removing the 7 screws of the panel behind it to get to the filter.

Also, here's the corrected link that was posted above. I'm not sure if you have to remove the side and lower dash panel, but either way it doesn't look too difficult. The YouTube video in this link is for the previous generation car.

And it's Tustin Infiniti in Socal.
Tustin Infiniti makes me cry... They suck. Next time, go to the dealership in Mission Viejo. Very good customer service.

aw e-dating.

ya infiniti is a rip-off when it comes to simple stuff like that. on my g35 it took me about 15 mins and the filter cost $13 at autozone. havent looked at how complicated these are. you can probably change it sooner but i didnt do that car til like 50k miles and the filter looked pretty clean.

Yeah that is a little steep. Six tenths of an hour should be fair.(Roughly $60 labor depending on labor rate.) Removal of the glove box is needed to access the in cabin. This is a luxury car and you bought it for the luxury factor. It came with a luxury price. Did you think the maintenance would have a Wally World price? Go to Mercedes or BMW for grins and price the same work. Ahh the price of luxury.

Hi, I've also tried to get to the filter of my G37S, following the service manual as best as I can and have to put everything back together because of a beam that prevents me from opening the small plastic door that keeps the microfilter in place. Am I missing something in the procedure? Has anyone else come across this problem and know what I am referring to? If so, what did you do?

I ordered my filters for 50.00 total got both intake filters and incabin for 50 shipped from riverside, then I paid a tech 25 cash to install the micron filter for me. So for micronfiber I paid 50 total. I paid about 100 total for the full 15k service including oil change and filter change all by ordering the parts myself and paying on the side for install. Don't let the stealership rip you off.
