weird change in noises

Ive had my G for about 6000 miles. For the first time today I did the trick where the car is off you double click the start button to turn only the radio on.. Well after that I turned my car on and was driving normally for a while. When I parked I opened the door and had my keyfob in the keyfob slot... Usually when the door is opened and your keyfob has not been removed from its slot it maked a beep beep beep noise, however now is just makes one long extremely anoying beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep. wtf is up with this ? did i somehow change the noises when pressing the start button twice ?

probably had some light on as opposed to it being in the auto position.

Lol I would never put my key in the keyfob slot!! Defeats the purpose!!! Haha that's funny. But yeah a long beep just means a light is or was on. Don't worry about it tho. I just noticed the other day, if you don't have ur headlights on auto and you have them on, they go off automatically after like 5 minutes or so.

I really didn't think people actually placed the keyfob into the slot unless the battery was dead or it was being valet parked or something... As for your problem, it s most likely what the others have already said.

I have experienced (after pressing the start button twice to keep the radio on) that the car beeps then when I finally exit. Not sure if it's a series or one long beep. The first time got me curious but I ignored it. It seems to do it whenever I take the same actions and now I just ignore it and make sure it's locked after I shut the door. Some silly glitch in the software that will never be fixed or explained.
