Do you have to cut anything below the bumper to make the plate fit?

 

If you put it in the same place the op put his yes. I have done this as well and you have to dremel out about an inch or so of the mesh because the plate actually slides inside the bumper. you can see it becasue the plate blocks it when its out and fills the hole when folded down. The only problem I have had with mine is when I back up if I hit mybrakes kinda hard the plate falls down flat. I dont think it has a real strong spring in it. Other then that its a great mod.

Yes he cut a section in the center bumper mesh for it as you can see in the vid

HAHAHA you will still get a ticket for no front plate if you get pulled over with it retracted and then bring it down for officer. Only good thing that is for is when you are parked so some meter maid doesnt ticket you for no front plate (and they will around here)

BUT someone did good by actually making this work for those of us that want to have a plate on the front....
