I tried searching the forums for this, but no luck. I will admit I havent gotten a chance to search my manual, but here goes.


Is it possible to turn the car engine off, WITHOUT turning the navigation/audio/electronics off? My reason for this is because when I turn my car on, it usually takes a few minutes for the car to read/load my compact flash card (I believe this is because I have alot of folders in it, and the car doesnt like it for some reason), and sometimes I want to turn the car off without turning the electronics off, in order to not have to wait for the car to reload the stuff again.

I know all non-keyless cars can do this (just rotate key from on to the other one), and am sure there must be a way to do the same with our cars.

aha! That's the trick. I knew there had to be a way... I tried all sorts of stuff. I'll give that a shot next time I turn my car off. Thanks!!
