Opinions on 6MT
it is the nature of the beast. The clutch/shifter is designed for a sports car feel and it's heavy duty design results in a little less refinement than the 5AT. If you know this going in, it isn't a problem. It's funny because some people LOVE the 6MT and don't mind the extra NVH... others don't. I personally believe some people have had bad experiences while others have had different expectations.
Hope to see the pics soon, have fun with it!
ok... ordered the liquid metal grey 6mt. It is on its way from a dealer someplace in Ontario. Apparently still has shipping tape on it so no one but me will have driven it
I will miss the IP 5at but am happy to be back to a 6mt.

Congrats on manning up and getting a 6MT!! I too understand that the clutch and transmission isn't the smoothest around but you'll get used to it. I did notice that after having this car now for about 3500 miles, the transmission has gotten a bit smoother and easier to shift...I am not sure if it is because of breaking in the car or the fact that I am starting to master this car's 6MT. Anyone else notice that over time the 6MT gets better?
