Lost All Power!!!!!!!!!!!

Driving into work this morning, not hammering it but going a good speed and all of a sudden the car lurches forward and I seem to loose all power, I start trying to get off the highway, no power in 5-4-3 gear, I step on the gas and nothing happens!
I down shift into second, and I have power but it cuts out above 3000rpm.........

Weird thing is the G just went into the dealer for service yesterday and now this!!!!!!!!!F--K!! I'm pissed

Anybody have any ideas - It's going to the dealer shortly by tow truck but I'm still curious what you guys think........

Hmm... Kinda sounds like it went into limp mode or something. Dont know why it would do this in normal driving. Search around cause this has come up a few other times with some other members.

Happened to me once on the week i got my car. I just parked on the shoulder, turned the car off, waited a minute or two, and turned it back on. Hasn't happened since then. I now have 21k miles.

Weird isn't it.......I'm the type that needs to know EXACTLY why it happened. I just got it back from the dealer and they gave me a song and dance on how it may have been debris in the intake etc etc - I call BS but I'm not a mechanic so I have to take their word unfortunately!

Thanks for the feedback guys!

Sounds possibly related to this guy's incident?

Have the dealer check the sensor on your brake pedal.. My car did the exact same thing where it felt like it was running on like 10% power, and by just slightly lifting the break pedal up with my foot everything went back to normal. No check engine light or anything.. Was a quick and easy fix at the dealer, only took like 20 minutes or so to fix..
