Says the guy with an Automatic jk .. but seriously.. I hear you.. It was more of a joke than an actual suggestion..however your statement is not true.. cause everything could be put under personal preference, colors, what packages you choose.. but it doesn't take away from the fact that a certain color might be the best looking color based on a majority vote etc.. once there is variety there is personal preference but it doesnt mean one of those might not be the better choice. Your statement means that the 6MT and AT are exaclty the same and the choice is based on what you preffer and that is something I doubt.. I believe they drive differently and I bet most (ceteris paribus) would peffer how the manual drives.. granted they know how to drive a manual and they realize they are driving a sports car.. but then again. .this is my own oppinion and I could just be talking a huge pile of crap..

Just a quick update: The insurance adjuster figured $7800 just for the damages she could see. This doesn't include the bent exhaust and anything else the body shop finds later. Either way, it's not totaled but still sucks this happened to a car with only 6k miles on it

Does anyone know what happens to my warranty now? Can I still take it to the dealership for fixes down the road?

Your warranty will still be solid as long as the collision repair company replaces is with OEM parts.

your warranty shouldn't be affected in any way.

does anyone know how a repair will affect you at lease turn in?

Last year I was at the mall in a movie, guy stole some crap and ran, jumped in his truck, backed out and slammed into the rear of my car (06 G35 coupe) and took off. Came out of the movie with cops around my car - they eventually caught the guy (apparently he got a $400 fine for hit and run). Damage was about $8000( looked similar to first pic in thread). Got it fixed by the local "official" Infiniti body shop. No other issues from the hit and run....until I was at service and a salesman said he could get me out of my lease for nothing (which was a lie) - the sales manager said since my car was in an accident and everyone Carfaxes these days, my car wasn't worth much to take as trade, so he thought I was stupid and wanted $5000 down and $675/mo, I laughed and walked.

also, I just scratched the hell out of the front bumper, find 8 inch curb, big truck behing me, turned too sharp out of parking space - should I pay to fix or just pay at end of lease (4 months)? thanks.
