HELP need some 411 on this!!
Wet-vac it and then steam the hell out of the carpet. Bake it in the sun (or heaters in a garage) and do it quickly to avoid mold growth underneath the carpet. Might want to look for a shop that specializes in vehicles that get flooded. They'll have some sort of checklist that might not be as obvious to you or your friend. Might cost a bit but the G is worth it brutha!!!!!
This is my suggestion, let the car idle with the heat full blast on fresh air and pointing to the ground with the ac on. the AC acts as a moisture remover, while the heat dries up the carpet. let it sit for an hour or two, you'll probably burn through $5 in gas, but its better than paying someone money to dry up your car.
