My 2 week old 2008 G37 sport
Just traded from Lexus IS*250 to brand new 2008 G37S with Sport package from Austin Infiniti. Love the car but, in the first week the compressor clutch went out. Unreal, did not expect it from an Infiniti nor did I ever experience anything like this with my previous 4 Lexus. Oh well, it has been fixed and starting to enjoy this beast. Here is a quick cell phone picture. Not wanting to do mods at this time, I like the stock look.

Congrats on the new ride, and welcome to myg37! Sorry to hear about running into issues so early into ownership, i hope that hasnt swayed you into thinking that Nissan/Infiniti is bad and unreliable!
They are awesome cars, and i'm glad to hear that you resolved that issue. I looked into Is250's and 350's before purchasing my G37, and they were great cars as well.

Congrats and welcome to the family! Sorry you had a bit of bad luck but you'll find it to be an awesome car. You'll learn a ton about that car here. I never thought I'd mod, and I've already done a few small things. Ha Ha.

Welcome and congrats!
OB = Obsidian Black (Eventhough the correct name of the color is actually BO, Black Obsidian) So yeah, it's just the black color G37's come in (AND THE BEST COLOR

Congratulations on your new car. I, too, prefer to keep my G37 stock. Now if you happen to develop a little mod fever later on, there are a few things you can do. First, take extra amounts of looking at your checkbook each day, and second ingest some of the horror stories that have been told on warranty voiding. But what ever you do, wear a surgical mask if you seek advice from anyone under 30 as most of them carry the fever.

Your wive's car is the exact same one color and rims that I just traded for my G37. Hated to see it go but, the dealer already sold it after I traded it in.

welcome and congrats ian.

Before I got my G37, and being aware that her 250 is under powered, I was thinking of an IS350 (a real his and hers), but after a G37 test drive, and looking at all the advanced G features, I decided on the Infiniti, and am quite glad I made that choice.
