Question about auto climate control

I noticed that when i have my auto climate control on, the air only comes out from the foot heaters, if i manually adjust it to the vents in front, the auto climate control turns off.

Is there a way to use auto climate control with air coming from the front vents ?

It comes out from the bottom because hot air rises?

I've noticed it, too... but I don't think you can change it.

I think it depends where what mode you have it on when you turn it off.

Auto climate will direct heat to come from the vents under the dash and cool air from the vents in the front of the dash. Most cars are this way. The temperature determines which vents it comes from. Adjust it cooler and it will switch to the vents on the front of dash.

If you want warm air from the defrost vents of the front dash vents, you have to adjust it manually.

i guess i have a problem because i have a 'on vent' car freshner, so i need air to blow through the vent to smell it.

Stick the 'on-vent' to those by the doors. These vents usually blow a very small amount of air regardless of which "mode" the vents are on. At least, I believe this is the case since I seem to always have air coming from there. Think its a defrosting issue (and, no I am not referring the actual defrost vents above the regular vents).

Good luck...
