Totaled my G

So, Monday morning on the way to work, I totaled my PG 08 G37s.

I was cruising at the speed limit down a two lane divided highway. A construction truck headed in the other direction cut in front of me to get across to McDonald's...no problem...other than he didn't tie down the load of drywall in the back of his pick up.

I had no where to go, hit it straight one. Probably 20-25 sheets in a perfect 2.5' ramp since they were banded together.

I went airborn, all four tires off the front, rocked back, hit peak, rocked forward, and landed on my front license plate. All four tires are bend inward from the impact. Bumper gone, Radiator somewhere under my engine. all the wheel wells are shot. Hood, all the plastic under the hood. My whole frame looks skewed, but not sure. Rear quarter panel is buckled.

I was leaking all my fluids. The transmission fluid made it look like she was bleeding.

Now, I'm justing waiting to hear final word from the insurance. Luckily, I had a witness and the other guy was at fault.

What should I do? 09 G, cheaper 08 G? FX?

I'm so angry and sad.

That sucks! Sorry to hear that incredible ordeal!

It's totally the other guy's fault! And all for a McDonald's..

Wow man.
Im sorry to hear that. Thank God your OK. Cars can be fixed/replaced. And luckily you had a witness lol. Take your time with choosing a new ride. Im sure that company's ins will pay for a rental for a while and if that load wasnt tied properly they left themselves open of a big lawsuit. Did u go to the hospital? if not. Go and get urself checked out just so it is on record.

wow sorry to hear. hope you're ok. if you have gap, go with the 09 for sure. especially if you want an auto. otherwise you can get a great deal on an 08.

Wow - good thing you're OK, even if the G isn't.
The way you describe it, it had to almost look like a movie stunt....

Man, I would have love to see that on video. The way you describe it sounds really cool. Glad you survived! Did you come out with any scratches at all. Obviously, the G37 can take a hit and still keep the passengers safe.

Get yourself a lawyer and sue the crap outta them.

ROFLMAO bro good one.

OP: as others have already said, cars come a dime a dozen, but you health and safety does not.

Brush yourself off, collect the insurance check, and go shopping for a new (08) G 6speed

Just like I wouldn't upgrade 19" wheels with 19" wheels... go to 20" I'd also either go to an 09 or look at a 370z or FX if that's your thing. Turn this into an opportunity for a positive move.

Yeah, airborn in our cars would not be a pleasant experience I could imagine, I get nervous when I see the SLIP indicator pop on, airborn though, I'd definitely terd my pants.
