lol u guys obviously dont know vancouver
2cm of snow and the whole city shuts down, cars were backed up for miles...

the car wouldnt budge.. there were a good 20-30 cars on the bridge that were left on the side and a ton of ppl walking, about 2-3 accidents on the bridge alone, they shut it down eventually

Please share.
First time I used Infiniti Roadside was because I locked myself in the car and shut it off to take a nap on a roadtrip from Florida to Texas. The security feature (engine immobilizer) kicked in and deactivated my key because it thought that I locked my key in the car and left. So I tried to jump it because I thought it was the battery first but turns out it wasnt. As soon as the tow truck driver came out, I had him give me just enough juice to power unlock the doors and then after that the car started just fine.

Second time, I had to get someone to come out to break into my car because I had it at the shop and they must have accidently pushed the button twice when they turned the car off because the battery died. I have a keyhole delete so first they had to break into my car, then jump the battery. No problems with the battery since.

If the tower didnt use the tow hook, there are two hookup slots on the frame behind the front wheels, and even if he did hook to the control arms, they wouldnt bend.Tie rods are a different story. It's also possible that he did get into your car to release the brake. Our cars are cake to do lockouts on. Anyway, dragging a car up w/the E-brake on wouldnt do anything. If you have any other questions hit me up. But no matter, go over your car w/a fine tooth comb.
I think this is why they get a bad rap...

That's kind of a tough situation. Obviously, I would nvr recommend dragging a car up the bed w/no wheels, whether its worth 70K or 1k. However, when you tow for a city or township, you don't argue w/them, and you do what you have to do. I disagree w/how the driver did it, leaving the cinder blocks under the chasis as he did it. He could have at least jacked the car up, taken the blocks off, and placed skates under all four hubs to at least prevent them from scraping. Some damage was inevitable though.

Definitely a tough situation! But personally I would sleep in the car if I was going to leave it on the side of a road. Good decision not driving it in the snow though!

There is something called SNOW TIRES instead of leaving a car on the bridge.

Haha I'll remember this next time I have to decide whether or not to leave my car next to a cliff during a hurricane.
