um....right maybe you've had bad past experiences, but it pisses me off how towers always get a bad rap. I've been working for my father's towing company right out of high school (about four yrs exp. from cars, motorcycles to tractor trailers) Chances are if the tower knows his **** and isn't careless....nothing got damaged. If the tower didnt use the tow hook, there are two hookup slots on the frame behind the front wheels, and even if he did hook to the control arms, they wouldnt bend.Tie rods are a different story. It's also possible that he did get into your car to release the brake. Our cars are cake to do lockouts on. Anyway, dragging a car up w/the E-brake on wouldnt do anything. If you have any other questions hit me up. But no matter, go over your car w/a fine tooth comb.

 

it's tru, tow guys have a bad rep....maybe b/c most of them try to act like mechanics when they really don't know anything at all.

I told the guy to just tow my damn car and stop touching the engine parts... tow the car, FOO...guess what he just left..lol....so i called back....another truck came...helped me out...and got the 1st toe guy fired !!!

 

What does this bridge look like? Do you have pictures? WHYTF would you leave your car unattended on a BRIDGE?!

haha...that's so true...there are waaaayyy too many tow truck drivers like that.

 

^^ the best part is when the second came, he was family with the owner, so they fired the 1st tow guy b/c he got complains before......


can you imagine the tow truck driver leaving on you....pissed me off

Yeah..we tell all our drivers just to tow the damn cars, thats what we get paid for, even if the customers ask for us to "look at something" for them. Not only that, its a liability issue, god forbid they f*ck something up. Sorry about your experience man. Unfortunately, you happened to get a complete f*cking idiot that day.

 

I told the guy to get the hell off and stop trying to fix a completely dead battery...lol.....unless you got some magic powder...hahahahaha


the battery was sooo dead that even a boost would only survive for only a few minutes...the brakes lights would drain it..

I'm sorry, but anyone who would leave a $40k+ car on the side of the raod deserves what he gets.
