Unhappy AHH! Hit a Pillar in an LA Parking Garage

I hate LA parking. I was inside a very small parking garage, and without even thinking I reversed too much and hit a pillar on my left rear fender and bumper. I was going very slow, so I feel like it looks worse than it is.

Any recommendations on what products I can use that could get rid of the pillar paint (which happens to be white on my obsidian... )?

Thanks guys, any words of encouragement can make my day go by faster haha.

(This all had to happen two days before my birthday too)

Rubbing Compound should bea ble to get it out if it's just paint and minor scratches... Be sure to wax afterwards... Turtle Wax Rubbing Compound...

Sorry to hear. Yeah I hate LA parking, especially when you're forced to valet by people getting paid minimum wage. I remember a couple weeks after getting my car this mexican dude parked my car next to a stone pillar and was extremely close to hitting it. i couldn't even fit my thumb into the gap between my bumper and the pillar.

Yeah that's my biggest fear at our parking garage, they decided to put in a ton of these short blocking posts and they sit at just about the same level as my door so I can miss seeing them at times.

Anyway, I wasn't laughing at your misery, just instinct kicking in, haha. Which lot was it? Was it a tight space so that we should avoid it?

I don't know if you guys have been to the McCormick and Schmick's in Downtown LA, but there is a parking garage right next to it. It uses one extremely small lane for cars going in and cars going out. Not only that, they have small circular pillars that make the lane seem even smaller.

Just be careful.

Here are the pics per your requests (sorry for bad quality, I used my BB):
