Tips for driving 6SPD in Snow?
I'm new to driving standard and new to RWD cars and new to the G37S. Any tips for driving in snow covered roads?
Woke up this morning and found 10-15 cm's on my street. I'm rumming Blizzak LM-25's, after backing out of my driveway, I found it difficult to get the car moving. The SLIP light just kept coming on and I couldn't feel the tires moving while I was giving it gas in 1st and 2nd.
Are there general tips for driving standard and RWD in the snow in order to get more traction?
edit: Sorry, I meant to say that I'm new to driving standard in the snow and new to driving a RWD car.

I have LM-25s on my G and it's been a breeze to drive in the snow. Just got 4 inches last night. Easy on the gas, and maybe even go a gear higher then you usually would at that speed. Give yourself space and keep an eye out for other drivers. I'm not worried about my skills, its others I worry about.
Why not? He has a good set of winter tires.

Like everyone said, easy on the gas, easy on the brakes, keep your front wheels straight when starting from a stop and take a wider angle when turning corners, the more you turn your front wheels the more the rear slips. With this car, take it easier than with your previous car. If you can put some weight in the trunk that would help too.
