New 09 G37S 7AT

ok I got my 7AT G37S last night. Car looks the same outside as the 08 as you all know. I have 18" wheels with blizzacks on for the winter. let the dealer keep the summers as I have mine from my crashed G. Inside we all know that it has ***** for the heated seats and washi on the door handles now which is nice. Still no washi on the shifter. The biggest difference and it came as a shock is that the center consul sits about 3"-4" higher due to the new tranny. This will mean that some after market CF kits will not fit this 09 G. Now on the 5AT at 120 km/hr on the hiway the car pulling was 3200ish rpm. now with the 7at it is 2500 rpm so i know I will see a difference in the gas milage. I don't notice a difference in off the line but it had snowed and the rods were slick as well I had berk HFC's on my last car and I know that made a difference and i cannot remember what it was like before the berks. Still have to wait on my trunk liner and to have my HFC's and Exhaust installed. LED's will be put in today. The dealer has some detailing to do as they washed it after me telling them not to and put scratches on it. as well the rear passenger window has to be replaced as it got a rock pick in transport.

You didn't just say your rod was slick did you?

Congrats on the new ride and I'm not sure I would want that center console to be any higher for me with my gorilla arms

I am kind of wishing I had waited for the '09 but I needed a car when I got my G. Congrats on the new ride! Enjoy it and don't wreck this one.

We are Shumby's collective conscience so he won't make the same mistake twice!
