That vid is +10000 with the front sport bumper compared to this one in the other post up:

I dont think any auto hard top convert is fully auto open and close. I think you have to hold the button on all of them for saftey issues. Thats how my mom's sc was and her new clk is like that too. Also you cant do it while moving.

Someone help me out but isn't there a mph limit??? Like you can open/close as long as you are going < a certain mph......

It really just depends. I think on some cars it will operate up to like 5mph.

When it was allowed in early makes of convertibles, too many were returning them with bent roof frames or frames no longer getting good seals (water leaks when raining) etc from opening the top at high speeds and the dealerships were caught in the middle of is it or is it not a warranty issue due to user fault.

Well it all depends on the car, i think the 1series can open and close up to 30mph, so it depends what the engineers think is okay.
