And did anyone notice that it is not an auto open and close system. Look at the video at 1:09 thru 1:13. It appears as though his hand is holding down the button to close the roof.
I dont think any auto hard top convert is fully auto open and close. I think you have to hold the button on all of them for saftey issues. Thats how my mom's sc was and her new clk is like that too. Also you cant do it while moving.
Think about it. If your crusin at 50mph with some fine bitches in the back and try to drop the top the wind will rip that thing back and chop them right up.

When it was allowed in early makes of convertibles, too many were returning them with bent roof frames or frames no longer getting good seals (water leaks when raining) etc from opening the top at high speeds and the dealerships were caught in the middle of is it or is it not a warranty issue due to user fault.
