6 Month Service
6 Month Service
I just got a 6 month Service notice.
I purchased the basic service plan when I got my G37. Does anyone know if this service is covered? If not, how much is it?
I drive my G pretty hard on occasion so I'm thinking it might not be a bad idea. Although, it is basically just an oil change and tire rotation, with a bunch of inspections (a really good dealership might want to just do anyway):
#1 - Brake Parts
#2 - Exhaust System
#3 - Propeller Shafts
#4 - Steering Gear and Linkage
#5 - Axle and Suspension Parts
#6 - Drive Shaft Boots - Isn't this part of the "Propeller Shafts" #3
#7 - Steering Linkage Ball Joints - Isn't this part of the "Steering Gear and Linkage" #4
#8 - Front Suspension Ball joints - Isn't this part of the "Axle and Suspension Parts" #5
6,7 and 8 must be the parts that aren't really part of the parts listed in 3,4, and 5. Kinda like Chicken Nuggets
Anyone who's done this service please let me know.

I bet you don't need all that stuff. Dated service doesn't mean anything when servicing a car. All depends on how you drive your car and the mileage. Just get an oil change and top off fluids and inflate the tire.
