New to the forum so please try not to toast me on this one...

Well just got off the phone with the dealer and its finally in on Guam... they only have one available (as always). Its Black Obsidian w/ Graphite Leather Interior. The only problem is that the dang dealer couldnt give me a firm price. Can you guys please help me out and give me an idea as to how much the 09' models are going for so I dont get jipped or burned by the dealer. Any advice would do, thanks for your help...

Dude, who told you it's an '09?
MSRP is about $1K above the '08 prices.

 

I understand the US 09s will be about $1500-$2000 more than the 08 base MSRP. So essentially... Base 08 was $34,900 do Base 09 will likely be about $36,900.

This is not yet official... Just word on the street.

 

There's already a member here with a G37 in Guam, ask him if he'd help you out with details of his deal.

I spoke with Dave Artero and he mentioned that it was an 09' G37S 6MT w/ no rear spoiler... Damn shame if he's trying to sell me an 08' making it seem like it was an 09' cause im trusting the guy ! Do you have any insight on this, cause im currently deployed and dont know anyone to go down to Infiniti to check it out. Im going to put a deposit to hold the car cause he has to wait for his boss to come in next week to get the price... just want to make sure its an 09' G37S 6MT !?! But thanks for looking out guys... and for the feed back on the price diff from 08' to 09'.

One more question... I read the post about the diff between 08' and 09' G37S, but it doesnt mention anything about the interior other than the trim color ? Any insight on this one ? thanks for you help guys !

Just checked out their website (infinitiguam.com), they have 3 2009 coupes listed in their inventory. I got my G37 from Mr. Artero as well. Pretty decent price he gave me considering how they jack up car prices on Guam.
Don't take my word for it but I think the markup on the 09's would be pretty steep because I know they would want to sell out their 08's.

Another interior change is the interior door handle. The 08's had an aluminum trimming on it that was prone to scratches. But its not too big of a deal though.

 

Infiniti sales are way down. Why just because the car is an 09 would you think that they won't deal on it? A sales a sale at this point in this economy.

Our dealer here get's them straight from Japan. Which is about 3.5 hrs. north of Guam by plane ride.

Don't complain though. Our Nissan dealer hasn't even gotten any GTR's yet. They said the demand in the mainland is so much that Guam is in their bottom priority list. The one thats set to arrive here will only be the "base" model GTR.

 

If there are any 08's still on the you should probably try and get one of those instead, you will probably get a real good deal. I'm the other guy on Guam with the "Skyline 370GT" I don't believe they carry G37 on Guam lol! Jus kidding guys. Let us know what you end up chosing.

 

I'm not saying they won't deal on it. I meant that they wouldn't discount much compared to a '08 model. You don't understand. We only have 5 dealers on Guam and each of them has monopoly on the brands of cars they sell. Unlike in the mainland where you have competing dealers and the buyer has somewhat of a bargaining power.

 

Its true... here on Guam we really dont have much to choose from... my first choice was an 08' G37S 6MT I/P, but none in stock... the only 6MT is the 09' B/O... But they do have one last 08' G37S 5AT I/P... gonna get with the dealer on this and see if he would drop the price... he was asking $43,800, does that sound fair ? If he would drop it to $40,000 or less, then its sold ! Its for the Wife anyways, I can always get an 6MT for myself later... well let me know what you guys think of the price, shoot !

 

You have to list more specs about ur model. Buying or leasing? APR? Down pmt? Any rebate offers?

$43,800 at this stage of the '08 life cycle is too much to pay but you need to post more information.

 

Yea just can't go in and yea F' your price I am going to the Infiniti on the other side of town. The guy will be like uh you can't there is none But I believe Dave is the only Infiniti salesman they have (crazy huh) so I don't think he will be worried about some other salesman taking his commison. Plus the Infinit and Nissan Dealership are not owned by a third party guy like Tripple J, its owned by Nissan. Hope that helps bro.
