These are mainly issues with the 08 models, are any of these problems solved for the 09?

 

this is a bad thread. if i read it i would probably hate my car and decision to get it

 

This is my second Nissan a 06 Z was my first and the thing that bothers me the most is the rattles ... It seriously rattles like a domestic car . My wife's 05 Lexus GX470 has nooooooo rattles ..At the end of the day it's still a Nissan. I should of bought a IS-F !!!!

I almost bought an 08 in November but then I decided to wait until my Altima SE-R lease expires to avoid early termination charges and then get an 09 but after reading these issues, I'm seriously reconsidering getting the G!

 

1) Paint Scratches So Easy - Man this is ridiculous!

This one pisses me off big time! But this is solved apparently with 09 models so nothing to worry about for new buyers.

Its a great car. Compared to the BMW 335i its a better buy period!

Even though BMW is faster, for the cost of the BMW compared to G you can buy this car and have money left over to add about 50 horsepower for under 2,500 dollars

 

Drive the car with someone not in the passenger seat. Also, drive a test car hard to see if you like it. if you baby it on the test drive you won't hear anything.

 

To be honest, if you are going to be looking for something wrong, you will find it. Im sure if Lambo/Ferrari owners started a similar thread like this, they would too start reconsidering their purchase. All in all, this is a great car. I love it. And I dont regret my choice at all even when I compare it to an IS or a 335. Each car has its issues - nothing is going to be perfect. Like the dude above me said - properly test drive the car 1st, and you'll get a good idea of what its all about...

The negative I have is the freaking sunglass holder. My sunglasses don't fit or barely fit and if i position it the wrong way it will start making a rattling noise.

 

Well, maybe you should get Dodge caravan, I hear they have big sunglass holders!

Rattles were one of the biggest issues with the G35 Coupes. Too bad Infiniti cannot find a fix with these inherent problems.
