i've thought this for a long time and now that the convertible is coming out, it reminded me again how much i wish this thing was offered as a targa. imo, convertables (especially 2+2 convertables) are for girls...and dudes who enjoy the company of other dudes....

I thought the convertible will be a hard top. is that incorrect?

might just be rumors, but....
The new G37 Convertible will feature a three-piece automatic retracting hardtop
http://www.theautochannel.com/news/2...19/096950.html

The three-piece folding hard top is fully automatic
http://wot.motortrend.com/6285897/au...but/index.html

more importantly, will it be available with AWD?

I agree! As of now, It can go either way. Kinda like wondering what that sexy voice on the other end of the phone is attached to. Could be just stunning and then on the other hand........................................

A targa top is where the roof panel is removable. The rear window and c-pillar stay in place. Like the Corvette.
