So a family member wants to get a g35x sedan (or maybe a g37x sedan). She was only interested in it because it is available with AWD. Now that the coupe is becoming available with AWD, she wants that. But something tell me (I know it sounds stupid, I just want you guys to erase this thought) that it is not as safe as the sedan. Am I wrong?
I have read that in crashes the damage dollar amount is high but the coupe holds up VERY well in crashes... now that compared to a sedan... no clue... thats really not something we can go out and test...lol
I don't think safety between them would be any different. There are standards and I'm sure the G (both coupe and sedan) have similar if not the same standards.
Safety wise I imagine they'd be the same, there's a chance the Coupe would handle better though. On the subject of sport, if you aren't going to be able to get the G37 coupe with Sport options and AWD, I'd think she would find the sedan more practicle.. she'd be able to take friends in the back seat... not so with the Coupe... and keep them as friends anyway.
