As modern Infinitis go, both cars are much safer than cars manufactured years ago, so you choice should be based on other factors. But to enhance safety, it may be important to not tamper with or bypass specific safety features that come with the car like TPMS, etc.

Either way you go will be just fine i think, a lot of cars have standards that they must be built to, or it wont be put on the street.

With that aside, any accident regardless of the car is dangerous.. going 70 and crashing in any car is high risk.

Well thank you to whomever changed the spelling.
The small back seat is not an issue. She was also looking at the altima coupe and the volvo c70 convertible, but she found them too dull to drive. There is an F-350 truck in the family for hauling people and junk when they need to.
