You can get your aluminum handles replaced with the washi trim once the '09's are released.

Dah, They replaced it No Charge! Why wait until the 09 washi comes out that is also made out of aluminum and is just as likely to scratch? And then pay $88 or more for the pleasure! Might as well just take it in the shorts!

Because the current "aluminum" is neither aluminum or Wahsi. It's plastic. Very soft plastic. It's what I like to call a POC.

The washi scratches will be easier to cover. Just use a metallic silver perm marker and you're good to go!!!!

Ok, I can be wrong. I was just too sure it was plastic. It feels like plastic. I tapped on it and it just had that plastic sound. Maybe it's plastic coated. I promise I will be more certain of what I post in the future.

on the other hand I bet it's not aluminum. Maybe some metal.... but not aluminum. Are you sure it's in fact aluminum? Whatever it is it is a POC.

Stick a magnet to it, That will tell ya! And if it where stainless it would not scratch as easily but it would weigh too much. In any case, I think we all agree this could be a little better done at the factory especially since the handle is so close to the seat. However, Am I gonna sell my G over it, Oh H E L L No! I just Love this car way too much!

The magnet did not stick. But it also did not stick to the Washi or the wheels. Alloys? I don't think aluminum is supposed do be magnetic. I have not had it off to see what the weight of it feels like. Not selling mine either.

After the '09 is released. Usually takes a month to get into inventory.
