So, I called to schedule my first service and explained the situation and was told by the adviser that he would take a look, However in his ten+ years of experience, he has never had one complaint about this. I think someone is trying to blow smoke up my azz! We will see what his attitude is when he See's me face to face! I don't think my request to repair this is out of line. Only time will tell!

Happens quite a bit. I suggested a while ago that you might be able to put the clear bra material on the strip if you care that much.

Ditto here. I don't have any on the inside of the car either, but a bunch on the inside part of the outside handles which makes sense grabbing the handle to open the door you are bound to put scratches on it no matter how you do it.

Mine dont have scratches yet but only because I have been a freak about it since experincing it on my G35 (those were really scratched).

I still dont see that as a wanrantee item. That would be like getting our car repainted under warantee because the paint is soft and scratches easy when you wash it. You still scratched it and it was avoidable.
