How old were you when you first got the coupe?

just my 2 cents though

Edited to add: I dont want to be snobby, so I am not presuming to know your situation. If you are getting the proper coverage for $67 a month you are getting the deal of a lifetime, and I would recommend sticking with the agent for life, and know that I am very jealous of you! I just checked my policy (I have allstate with 2 house policies, an apartment policy, 3 car policies, 2 motorcycle policies, collectible insurance, and a personal umbrella policy for my wife and I) and I am paying $1428 a year for the G. My credit is fine and I've been with them since May of 1997. No tickets, no points, I am married and 29 years old. I do have pretty high limits on the liability though, so that drives it up a little.

Mr. Ducati,

I think it's time for you to switch to another insurance co. I had Allstate also until recently, house and 2 cars. I was paying for my G aprox $1100/year...Recently I switched to another company (good one) and saved for both my cars combined about $500, plus I have now $250 deductibile, less than b4. Allstate not too good lately, was told they increased their rates 3 times during the last y or so. When you save that money invite me for a beer...

Just a thought,
-A

I would say that sounds about right. Mine premium is probably a little bit higher because of the limits I carry. When there is an umbrella involved, it requires carrying the same coverage on all homes and vehicles. When there is a umbrella involved, it requires carrying that same coverage across all homes and vehicles. For the extra $500 a year, knowing that I have an agent who will do everything for me if anything bad ever happens, is really worth it!

In high school I drove a Ford Windstar (16), in undergrad I drove a Ford Taurus (19), in medical school I got a used 03 G35 coupe towards the latter half (23).

Now that I'm an ER doc, I have the new G37S (26).

After residency, when I become an attending (29), I'm getting an Aston.

You gotta work for it.

Stop the Insanity

I had a Rolls Royce when I was 12; I bought my first G while I was waiting on my Range Rovers oil to be changed (I needed some lunch and I hate loaner cars). Seriously, I have seen threads like this on about 10 different boards and it always seems like it is an opportunity for people to brag that they got a nice car for their 16th birthday or whatever. If your parents are rich, great for you. If your parents are the kind of people that drive a piece of crap, but want to make up for their crappy childhood years and buy you a nice car, then that is great for as well, but in all honesty, does it really matter? There are a lot of people driving cars that would be considered modest for their income and then there are others, some on these boards, who have mortgaged their future to have a decent car. Anyone looking to brag should first ask the real question: Is it actually paid for? By paid for, I do not mean you made your payment this month, I mean paid for. This message is not meant to be inflammatory or **** anyone off, but there has got to be something better to discuss.

26, its my first purchased car. The previous cars were hand me downs. I totaled my dads 99 turbo when I was 21 or 22. I think it depends on how responsible you are. I'm a lot more responsible now than I was back then.

Talking

Maybe we should ask, how many of you guys are paying your G by yourself. i mean include everything, insurance, payments, etc. Even you r paying everything off the G, how about rent, do you have to pay a rent?own a house? or still live with your parents, age doesnt matters, what matters is the ability to having a car like that.
haha
lots of young kids are driving G37 now, looks i better trade mine in to get one more mature. maybe a 2009 GS 460.
