Drunk drivers suck

We got rear ended yesterday afternoon by a drunk driver. He was going about 45-50 and we were at a dead stop when he hit us. The G did a good job of protecting us but the rear of the car is now crushed all the way into the tires. Nothing like a nice case of whiplash and back pain to make the weekend great.

I will try to post some pics when I get em. Damn car was only 6 months old.

F drunk people. I went to a club last night and I realize why I don't drink. I was the dd for my girlfriend and her girlyfriends. People puking outside of the place and then jumping in their cars to drive home. Drunk drivers should be terminated on-site.

sorry to hear about your loss man. Glad you guys are ok and well though. The car can be replaced, your lives cant.

When you get a chance, post up some pictures so we can see what kind of damage the G took.

Wow and if someone was in your backseat they probably would be pretty damn hurt or dead! Some pics would be great, I'd like to see the rear after sustaining a 40-45 MPH impact.

This is a true story:

I drove my mom's TL and I picked up my GF from san jose. I hit traffic on 101 north in the carpool lane. Came to a complete stop and we both hear a loud screech from behind and next thing I know, I got rear ended. The funny thing about it was the guy was 100% sober and a CEO of an airline company!! I couldn't believe it myself -_____-

I know how you feel man. Everything will work out. Now you just have to cope with your car being injured..

Some people can be brain dead. Why drink and drive?
Glad to hear you are ok though.

I had a similar situation except I was lucky and the guy swerved to the shoulder. Oh, and it was a semi with a huge container on the back.

scared the scat out of me.

Wow, the G37 really can handle a crash especially if that was at 45-50mph. If he was drunk, I don't he was hitting the brake at the time too.

Yeah I was very impressed how well it took the hit. There wasn't a single skid mark from him breaking so he hit us fullspeed.
