small question for 6mt owners

small question for 6mt owners

i noticed 1st gear tops at about 36 mph and 2nd gear 60mphs does that sound right? and i also heard 3rd tops at 99mph

Redlined at 41 MPH and 62 in 1st and 2nd. Didn't try 3rd.

Any MPH is good in any gear on a hard pull so long as your not bouncing off the rev limiter....Like terrible said...Nobody is cruising down the highway at 90mph in 3rd gear for longer then a split second...They'd be moronic to do so...

The manual states the actual "max" listed numbers for each gear, but I don't remember them off the top of my head. I think 1st was 39 mph. It's in the section with the shift-point recommendations.

o for sure thx ill get the manual out haven't read it ever since i got the car, but yeah guys this is for the sole purpose of hard pulls not idling at these gears at high mph.

just wondering what do most of you guys shift at for optimum speed / power lets say while at the track or drag racing. 7300 rpm or all the way at 7500. wheres the fuel cut thx

yeah i didnt kno this was based on pulls, thats y i was so shocked. lol.. but yea i would neva do that.

I have no idea...still staying under 4k rpm and breaking mine in....

power band is at 7300 shift at 7300 or you would loose power.
