completely disappointed at G37S
completely disappointed at G37S
I am just completely disappointed at how much my 5 month old 2008 G37S with 2,364 miles has been depreciated just on 5 month (Pay $45,300). My car has all the upgrade including 4 wheel steer , laser cruise control, Navigation, oem spoiler, etc....
Today I went to trade my car for a new M3 at my local BMW dealer. After test drive the M3 and start negotiating the price of the car the dealer offer me only $33,000 for a perfect fully loaded G37S. What happen to the value of my G37S????

Not to be an azz...But were you born yesterday? Everyone knows that the dealerships are going to offer you about 5-6k less then what you can get on the private market...
For my 04 G35 coupe I was offered 15k from the dealership and I sold for 20k at private party...Dont be lazy and shop it around...The dealership realizes your in a hurry to jump into a brand new M3 so they lowball you knowing you'll probably just take the offer they give ya...

Nothing. You used the dealership quote as a measure of the true value to your car, that's what happened.

what you don't understand is that the g37 isn't even in the books yet so the dealers obiously are going to take advantage of this. they could by the car for about 38k and want to lowball you so they can make the most amount of money since they don't even know if the car will sell if they by it from you for 33,000 and sell it at like 36-37k. it's a used car and people would rather by a new one for a little more so the dealer is taking a chance. so sell it privately and then approach a dealer. i got offered 35K for a trade in at bmw. gluck
