I did not say that I hate my car, just that I was a little disappointed.

The G is projected to have excellent resale value, there were many posts on it. Long time ago dealer tried to low-ball me $5 K on a cheap car (which represents a huge % of its value).

Also, there's high demand for the E92 M3, instead of marking up the cost they'll say they'll sell it to you at MSRP, but really they're making up for it on the trade-in.

To make the problem worse the local I N f I N I T I dealer are financing the new G37 at 1.9%. If I can not get at least 38,500 I will keep it an start saving money to buy a Twin Turbo next year when we have more FI in the market for our engines. I love the GTMotorsport kit but, I am in Orlando Fl and sending the car to them is prohibitive expensive.

I spoke with Jim Wolf yesterday and they are working on a TT for the G37 they do not yet know what will be the market price but, they said that it will be in the rage of 7500-8000 range.

Later during the day I called Peter at APS (Australia). Peter the owner of APS told me that he is really exited to start working on the new 3.7 engine, but they are waiting to get a G. He even mention if I was interested to send the car to him, the biggest problem is that they need the car for 6 month and the price to send the car to Australia is even MORE $$$$$$$$$$$$$PROHIBITIVE$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ (Also the car need a clear title). Anyway all that to said that SOON we are going to see more FI options from other tuners.

I checked Black Book today, and our car isn't listed. Black Book is what dealers use to quote your trade. If it isn't in the book, they'll usually call an Infiniti dealer or two to see what they would buy your car for, since they aren't in the Infiniti business, and then quote you that price. Just a little fyi on where the dealer is most likely coming from.

So bluebook and black book haven't been listend really means that dealership was just flat out seezing their opportunity to rip you off. Good luck though, the M3 is pretty bad a$$. Maybe if you can wait a few months and pay off a little bit of the G37, it will get listed and maybe you can get a better deal on the M3.

Does anyone know how long it taked for a new car to get listed in the books?

 

Hey G are you disappointed because there are not many Mod options (including turbo kits) for the G37?

 

^I think he's just dissappointed that the dealer tryed to low ball him on the trade in value, and he believed that the dealer was giving him what the trade-in value was when there actually isn't even any trade-in values yet.

 

post it on all these forums g35driver, frenzy, myg37 etc etc and you might be able to get a buyer on those three sites alone.

 

When I test drove the 135 the sales person commented that he could get me 'probably 25K' trade-in for my car. I laughed & told him my car has 3K miles and stickered for 43K. He then said 'well ... maybe 30 then.'

There are no numbers yet on our cars and most non-Infiniti salespeople don't have a clue what a G37 is.
