Do some of you really think that a locked door is going to stop someone from car jacking you if they really want your car? A broken window is easy to fix.

Auto door locks are either an option or standard on the '09 coupes.

to0 bad you cant open it from inside by just pulling the handle when its locked, id be interested. Just work pushing the lock button into your starting up routine, heh

the autolock on our GM truck is kinda nice, only sucks when your trying to bail out of a rolling vehicle with a semi-auto rifle, (and a beer, heh) to tag the critter up front. During those times, gotta add the push to unlock when were rolling into the routine

Anyone know for sure if this is what they're talking about on the 09's? I'd rather have the car automagically lock when my key's out of range and unluck when I'm in range.

This routine is deemed "EASY" in your G37 driving through school zones...

So has anyone purchased, and installed the auto lock product from KPTechnologies?

I wanted to get someone's take on this product in particular?

We have had multiple '08 owners purchase and install the auto lock module (and a couple of speed switches as well).

It's a pretty straight forward install - the BCM is in the drivers kick and you'll find all the wires you need there. You still need a relay pack, which adds a few more wires in to the mix, but nothing too difficult.
