How do we overide the 155mph speed limiter on our G37's? anybody know?... And does anybody know the offcial top speed of a g37 without a speed limiter? is it around 190mph?

 

probably have to do an ECU reflash or something along those lines. im not too sure i think its a different procudere depending on the car...

where do u plan on driving your car at 155 (if that is true limiter) and then all the way to 190? 190 is fast anddangerous. i think you need a track

And yes, there is actually a way to remove the top speed limiter and push it over 155mph (I think top speed is 140mph). You can install a quad intake, those things add roughly 500hp to the wheels. So what will happen is that you'll see the tach needle do a 360. Don't forget to overclock the ECU too for the tune-up.

190mph? You will either kill yourself or worse, kill innocent drivers on the street.

I'm pretty sure this car can hit 160mph with the right tires/conditions, no chance it'll ever see 190mph...

Also, only way to get rid of the governor is a reflash.
