That Slip Light

So I've noticed the "slip" light flash when Im "pulling" through in a certain gear....what gives?
For instance, i get into fourth and from around 2k rpm to 5.5k rpm, as the car pulls through, the light will flash once or 2x over the course....

I believe this is due to a loss of traction... It certainly is the season for it too. Slippery ground maybe? Does the light flash when you don't gun it through the gear?

I'm not really gunning it, its not like the rpms fly up, but the car is pulling good though....

In theory, I don't think the VDC should kick in that easily, on dry/straight pavement... That is if you really aren't gunning it... I wouldn't be to worried about it as long as there is no change in the car's behavior on the road... But I certainly wouldn't neglect the possibility of it being a small bug that should be looked into.

Push the little button to turn off the VDC, problem solved.

haha. I would leave VDC on for everyday driving... like I said, aside from the light, if there is no unusual car behavior, VDC will help you stay on track and stabilize your vehicle if you take a turn too quickly/sharply or you start slipping...
