WHY??? Obsidian Black or Amethyst Graphite

Congrats on the black. I still haven't seen another one on the road, black or otherwise and I live in a huge town! I'm beginning to think that I am the only G37 driver on the road..

I'd go with the AG, I had an 08 in AG and loved the color. I did a 2 year lease on it and when I renewed with a 2010 model I couldn't find an AG anywhere so settled for Graphite Shadow. Even though the colors are very similar, I just liked the AG better. Plus, as many others have stated, Black is just a lot of work, depends on how much time you want to spend cleaning.

Well the funny thing is that I asked myself the same question when I was looking for my 37. I chose BO because black is my favorite color. There's nothing like a black car when its clean. I looked at the AG but I didn't like how it looked in sometimes in the light. With that said, you have to make this decision for yourself. I didn't want to purchase the AG and regret my decision. Whichever color you're leaning towards go with it, because you will be the one driving it. No matter which color you decide on, they're both great choices.

I'm faced with a similar dilemma now that the 2011s are almost here - OB or GS... For the longest time I was pretty much sold on the GS, but lately the OB (especially with the right Vossen's or Volk's)... that's a tough combo to beat.

Actually, after thinking for a while, I decided with AG. I was going to get it, except there are NONE available with the graphite interior. They had the OB in the exact config I was looking for that came in this morning, which looked damn sexy since they just waxed it. The main reason I went with OB is because I had no choice. The wait for AG would be about a couple months (at least as far as the package i'm looking for), and by that time, there would be no more 2.9% financing.
Well, it's time for me to go pick up the black monster. WOOOOO!!!!
