Full JDM package...

Ok so i have some connections in japan to get many oem JDM items. one of my contacts was talking to me about putting together a package for people who want their cars to be full jdm spec. One of the cars mentioned was the G/skyline because there are a large amount of people who put the badges. First what would be included.
All items would be the JDM Nissan oem versions
Front Grill
Brakes(for sport)
center caps for wheels
Steering wheel
rear nissan badge
Skyline letters
370gt badge
skyline kick plates illuminated only
Nissan key fob housing
Engine cover
clock

as of right now those are the items that would be included. There was talk about doing seats because the nissan ones dont have anything stitched into them as where the infiniti well say infiniti and would kill the conversion. The problem right now is placement of all the items on the seats, i.e. switches and belts are for RHD only. so seats are in the talks only.

How many of you would be interested in doing this to your cars?

What would the grille look like?

I'd like to get away from the corporate Infiniti chrome grille, but not one of those recessed after market types. Too rice for me.

I've seen a photo shop of a stock grille that had been painted a matte charcoal, leaving the Infiniti logo chrome. It was understated, tasteful, and different.

Can you throw in the side mirror camera? How about RHD and different interior colors as well?

THAT'S WHAT I WAS SAYIN IN ANOTHER THREAD!!! About people putting "Skyline" badges and 370GT badges on their G37. And people say "well it's a skyline in japan, blah blah blah", Yeah but are we in japan? NO! Is your steering wheel on the right side of the car? NO. Just leave the badging as is or take it off all together.

On another note, I think this package would be ok for someone who's in dire love with the JDM and their looks. I don't think it would be worth the money IMO, but that's because these changes will be so minor from USDM to JDM that who will notice the difference unless you're showing your car off to a bunch of G enthusiast's.

I forgot two items which i added. The engine cover and the clock would also be included. The mirrors i can get also but the problem is that software is not in our system so the camera would not run.

I love jdm stuff but badging just seems to much unless its the last mod you can do. I guess if you are a real hardcore

jdm nut these would be a great addition for you.

it all depends on what look your going for. Just like all the people who do the full type R conversions, or Silvia conversions there are plenty of people who do them. Personally i wont buy this package, i am going after market on the steering wheel, seats, wheels. While all my items will be JDM i am going for a race look not an oem look. I will have the skyline rear, 370gt badge and illuminated sills. But no rear nissan or infiniti badge. and the front grill i will go after market when one i like comes out.

i say, if you're gonna do it, do it right. it's all or nothing. don't half-*** it and it'll end up looking great.

i dislike seeing "INFINITI 350GT" on the backs of some G's
