How do your bumper covers look in relation to the main body of the car? Is the color a perfect match?

The reason I ask is that it was a problem with with '95 Maxima, and I've seen where the Acura TL guys complain about consistency between the bumper covers and the rest of the car.

 

My IP G35 had the mismatch too. Not sure how well it looks in the G37 though.

 

Is the mismatch a function of the color; i.e. it's really there with the other colors as well, but we just don't see it?

I think IP is a beautiful color. I'm just surprised this problem persists; and it's not just an issue for Infiniti.

One thing I saw on my Maxima was that the difference got more noticeable over time.

 

A bodyshop friend of mine says the IP is just a really hard color to match and the white shows the mismatch more than others.

 

mine has the EXACT same color on EVERY SINGLE panel of the car.

 

mine too also matches perfectly. The reason that some time the bumpers dont match the panels is the way the paint sticks to the plastic bumper compaired to the metal fenders.
