thanks for the replies guys. I just wanted to know if it seemed right for him to have me talk to the girl down the hall from him to find out about the paint. Or for me to take time out of work to call them. As for the detailing ya i'll be dioing it myself. Sometimes me and the guys i work with can be a bit demanding and i needed an outside opion. I htought that the guy was getting a bit snippy with the "deliver you a dirty car coment". But i guess not. Thanks for the input gee still over 6 weeks to get my G.

nope. he was just informing you that if they don't clean it for you it will be dirty. Seems like a good guy. Buy from him. He's taking lots of time to respond to the emails etc. This was my first car too so i know your pain.

Just be real nice to him and test drive a car and have fun. His emails are much better than some i have received from people that i am buying items from.

Your questions are totally normal. This is your first "big" purchase so you want everything to be perfect. I'm in the same situation as you. I'm definitely taking my time before pulling the trigger.

I went to a dealership last week and no salesmen even bothered coming to talk to me. We are young (below 35) and they assume we are just there to waste their time. They had just sold one to an old man and I assume that's the market they're aiming with the car here. I just grabed a brochure and left. I will be purchasing my car in another dealership if I can actually makeup my mind that this is the car for me.

I actually thought I would get more responses like this. I did not think it unreasonable for him to have the info about the "pain sealant" he is he person selling it to me. i work in the oil patch dealing with drilling companies and if i got email asking a question i would find the answer or ge tthe person that does know to get intouch with them I think that is just customer service.

As for the age thing not such a big deal here in Edmonton where a 19 year oud rig pig can be making 1500K a year.

No, I believe your sales person is being very professional and patient as he helps educate you on the process and responds to your questions. As O NO said, make it a fun process and don't be so **** over everything with this car.

The business office people are actually the ones responsible for everything extra to the car such as financing, extra warranty, paint protection, extra tire warranties etc. ; and not your sales representative.
