This was after I was told by your internet mgr I could buy any car on the lot @ $1000 below STICKER. I made an offer with this exact number and he told me it was not good enough. You sir, work for a GREEDY dealership that deals with lies and decete to get customers to come in at any cost. I will never reccommend it to anyone I know. It is very insulting to someone to offer 35,660 (not the exact number but it was close to that) CASH and be told that it is not enough to buy the car, the dealer wants more. I think of this as sweet revenge because I know a lot of members here are from the SD area and they need to be made aware of past buying experiences from previous customers.
I wound up buying my car @ riverside infiniti who did give me my 1k off sticker for the exact same car.

Well I apologize for your bad Experience with Kearny Mesa. Like I said before I am new here as in today was my first day. I do know that I have spoken with all managers and all sales people and based my decision upon that. I felt that this dealership is far above any other dealer ship that i have been too. I have worked a a large dealership prior to my military service and it was terrible. Everyone tried f'ing the customers bad.

Your problem was 3 years ago and i am not sure even if that same internet manager is there now. That is probably the one person that I haven't met. But i do know that Kearny Mesa Infiniti is a stand up dealership. Another thing that you need to look at is the trim level you are buying. If sticker is close to the invoice you arent going to get it anything lower than 500 above invoice. Well anything that I have ever seen. I said before I am sorry for your bad experience but I am a honest man that will not lie to make a sell.

That isn't true either though, these cars have a high markup from their invoice pricing that even with $1,000 off, they are still making a good deal of profit even if it is a base model.

Granted they are more than likely going to try and sell you one that is completely optioned out, since it offers more of a profit to them to do so. When I bought mine they were offering me $2500 off any of their stock (The least optioned ones had just the premium package and splashguards) I even still talked them down another $500 off that so with him wanting only $1000 off MSRP was quite a reasonable offer, if anything he still was getting ripped off. So I agree that they were just being extremely greedy with an offer like his.
