Opinions on the Six Speed

I'm almost ready to take the jump and order a G37. The only question left is auto or stick.

I've read of issues with the G35 clutch engagement and the general feel of the shifter. Articles on the G37 have conflicting opinions (Car and Driver even conflicts itself).

My only sources of info are the magazines and you guys. As soon as I can test drive one, I'll do it. I'd still like to hear what you think.

Thanks in advance.

Correct me if i am wrong but the magazines seem o say all the problems with the manual transmission have been refined. I suggest test driving both for yourself although.

Yes I too have read that the issues with the 6 speed have been ironed out by-in-large.

I also remember one of the magazines saying something about a sticky clutch. keep in mind they had pre-release models, I wouldn't let that stop me... Most of these guys say the 6MT is much better than the sedan and previous generation.
