Chrome Spoiler

Hey guys The chrome spoiler is still a possibility to me because i feel with a black g37 it might look good with the color variation but i did notice a difference in these two pictures
<img src="http://www.g37forums.com/images/NYIAS/G37/IMG_0317.JPG ">
<img src="http://response.jp/issue/2007/0429/article94216_1.images/143275.jpg">
<img src="http://i181.photobucket.com/albums/x141/InfinitiMichael/BlueSlaterear34.jpg">
Is it just my eyes or do the first to pictures show the spoiler more extensively while the last picture shows the spoiler built more in depth? I hope you guys understand what i am trying to say or if you guys even see it.

Oh wow I actually do see a difference. Yeah I agree with you. I believe that the chrome spoiler will look great on the obsidian because to me it adds a little class and umm... chrome to it. I'm also a little puzzled by the 2nd picture (the hot red one). Does anyone else see the orange in the tail light? Is that supposed to be the turn signal? If it is... then are the rear turn signal lights for the US G37s the same but just in red?? If it is, then that will be a great surprise to me.

agree with you on the black.. chrome on lighter colors doesnt do it for me.. but on the slate and black.. it'll look great! just wish we could get hi-res pics of black from infiniti michael! Photoshops i've seen are cheezy. Would be nice if infiniti sent out something for those with deposits! wishful thinking. next week we should get a few more bones thrown our way (i.e. articles from the rags!)

I wouldn't let the chrome trim piece worry you so much. I didn't like it when I first saw it (in pictures) on the new sedan but in person it goes with the car well. It should work on the coupe as well. If that's what you want, then go for it. The only thing you have to deal with is the stubborn greasy fingerprints.

Well i personally think im going to stick with the chrome but i prefer the way it looks in the first 2 picks( more extensive) The last pic has it more in depth and im just not feeling that. i wonder y the two seem to vary like that. Oh and good eye on the orange yimbie, didnt c that

I know... I'm just brilliant.

J/K

... or am I? Hmm... conceited or not conceited?

But anyways... I hope that the turn signals are those circles within the bigger LED lights. I think it would look better than if the LEDs were the turn signals.

Are you sure it isn't just the angles of each shot plus the difference in lighting playing a trick on you? To me, they look the same.

Hmmmm.... I actually am thinking that it is the lighting and reflection. If you look at the 3/4 rear picture of the G37 coupe from the Infiniti website... the chrome spoiler looks more like the ones from the first two pictures.

It looks like the chrome spoiler is reflecting the paint color (especially noticeable on the red car). On the third pic, the dark paint is reflected to exaggerate the contrast and make it look "deeper".

Same spoiler, but the effect is there, and should be evident in the real world as well (dark cars will look like they have more "pronounced" spoilers).

Of course, the third pic might also be reflecting the road, in which case, all cars will have the "deeper" effect. Kind of tough to tell on just that one pic of it on the street.

That's definitely the same spoiler, not two different ones.
