2008 G37 Nyias Pics

Since there are only a few shots here and there, I figured a new thread with everyones pics would help the most. I'll get this started.

BTW, the greatest "small" improvement they made....NO MORE DOT MATRIX ON THE REAR WINDOW!!! Other than the other tech enhancements, I like 10" subs in the doors although BLOSE IS BLOSE!

Here we go!

Look at the ground clearance!

2 CAI going into the fender and placing the filters right in the side opening in teh front bumper. Of course, you would need to make it an opening (It's solid plastic) and replace the faux mesh with some custom automesh! LOL

I dunno if it's me or the car, but I just feel blah about it. I appreciate the upgrades, dunno about styling, love the headlights, not sure about the rear...etc etc. When I saw the G35 in late 02, I FELL IN LOVE....head over heels in love. This G doesn't get my blood pumping like my MONIQUE did. It could very well be that after 4 years of riding her, I'm just done with it.

Likes:
more power
headlights
10" subs in the doors
wheels look nice, but will be a pain to clean
seats-adjustable side bolsters
no more dot matrix on rear (Finally have nice looking tint)

Dislikes:
ride height - It's rigoddamn diculous
rear - something just doesn't sit well with me
interior - i would have liked to have seen suede/alcantera and leather
front bumper - looks kinda blah

I guess I would have to drive it and spend more time with it before really making judgement. I though Carribean Blue was the most hideous color when I got my G but now I love it, so impressions change.

I guess this just makes my decision easier in moving on to a new vehicle yet harder, parting with my 03! Toyota FJ here I come!

Haha, its funny Diesel, I feel you on the way you felt when you first saw the G35. This just does not have the same affect on me. But will still hold final judgements till tomorrow.

The paddle shifters look pretty big! Is it better to have paddle shifters behind the steering wheel or on it?

the first time i see the G37 n personally i think the G35 still looks more aggressive and stuf, the G37 is a bit more luxuriou but i think it lost that race/luxury look

good write up man!!, i cant wait to check it out in person myself. It does look like a luxury coupe with sportiness rather than a sport coupe with luxury, but i still love it, looks more muscular and you can see the character of the car really well.

''This G doesn't get my blood pumping like my MONIQUE did''. haahahha i thought i was the only one who named my car

New York auto show........G37

Ok this car isn't what the G35 was in looks, but with a few minor mods it
could be better.....much better! New frontend, rear spoiler, coilovers and
rims with a four inch lip in back......maybe Volks M's.....I wonder if Stillen has
started a design on the new intake (twins)? See this car is doable!
