Not feeling the chrome spoiler thing at all. I wonder if it can be painted to match the rest of the car.

The front bumper...I need to see one in person before I am convinced the damn thing looks like an afterthought to the rest of the vehicle. The interior looks like a strong improvement over the '03 I drive and the addition of stuff my '03 doesn't currently have such as bluetooth suport will definitely be nice.

Don't know about you guys, but I'll probably wait until about 2010 (only 3 years) before I retire the G35 and look at a used G37. This time, it'll be a stick with an eye towards forced injection.

That engine layout looks sweet btw! Thanks for the pics.

In one of these videos, the announcer said that there will be an aero package that gives you the painted spoiler rather than chrome.

Seeing that most of us got the same shots, I won't post any of the hundred or so I shot, but here are a few engine shots.

I'm def sold on this car. My deposit is going down. I wasn't completely floored, but nothing in that building did that to me. Too many people and I was irritated. Remind me next year to take the train, and come on a Tuesday or something. Saturdays suck. It took 45 minutes just to get in. And that's after taking an hour trying to park. I ended up parking a block bast B&H and walking. And it was cold.

Was anyone able to get some shots or partial shots of the backseat? I'm wondering how is the leg room.

i'm not the type of guy to do mods but i would consider painting those calipers to something that might stand out more. One thing i loved about my 2004 g35c was those gold brembo brakes.. boy did they stand out nice!

For those in-the-know... what type of paint would you use to paint those?

They make caliper paint, but most high heat paint will work. Also, I hear powder coating works too.

I tried to get pics of the back seats, but couldn't because of the angle and the glass. They look like they are far back, but I couldn't see leg room.

I am really liking the new coupe aside from the 2 very obvious issues of the spoiler and the front bumper. What I don't understand is who Infiniti is trying to appeal to with a chrome spoiler??? It looks hideous, and I can imagine it looking even worse on different G37 colors such as Lakeshore slate or laser red. At least with the new front bumper, I can see Infiniti trying to appeal to the Lexus crowd.

Anyway, they need to include a new front bumper with the Aero package along with a new spoiler (not just a paint job).... Infiniti would get alot more 1st gen buyers this way.
