As for those of you thinking of jumping to the 335:

My friend is a service adviser at Bimmer and he said they are getting LOTS of broken 335s in for service!

My advice: if you plan to get into a twin turbo BMW.......LEASE!!!!!!!

Don't even think about buying. If you think BMW service is outrageous on the NA cars, what till a turbo goes!!!!

BMW basically gets people to Beta test their cars, that's how they can release new models so often and that's why their cars have so many problems.

Don't be a beta-tester on a TT!!!! Unless you have a lot of money that you don't want laying around....

can you be a little more detailed? while I am 75 percent in favor of buying the new G, I am curious as to what other issues have begun to appear with the new 3. I have followed the bimmer threads and not herd of things beyond the fuel pump, lack of an oil cooler on the AT models, and a few things about temp gauges being replaced. it would be great to hear first hand from a service department what is being seen on this car.

I am on the train as I write this headed to the show, can't waitto see her in person. Congrats to those who have put down, I am not quite ready but this car is really making me work harder to put it in the driveway soon.

This G37 says - "I am beautiful, graceful, independent, and I have the rights act up once a month. Who needs a man anyways when you got a G37"
Very degrading comment in my opinion.

Look, I understand people beating up on the new car because they own the "older" model, but the reality is that this new car looks similar to the previous version. You can't possibly hate it that much or you would have to hate your own car.

These latest pictures are impressive in my opinion. That along with all of the improvements (a LOT of improvements) will make this car a winner. Let's revive these threads after the sales info comes out for the new car and see who is right.
Disagree. Car lost it edge in appearance. < aggressiveness then 05. The features " in my opinion" do not make up for the looks. It now looks way to much like other cars....

Wrong way

1) Rides too high
2) Front end is too bulbous
3) The trademark creased lines are gone
4) Goofy chromed lip on the trunk lid
5) Didn't carry over the awesome looking exhaust from the concept
6) Didn't carry over the flat bottomed steering wheel
7) Needs more low end torque
8) Likely won't outrun a 335 to 60mph even with 30+ HP

All that having been said, it's a great looking car- But IMO it's a step backward from the current generation.

Yap, my bad. TV was playing Mel Gibson's "What women wants," I just took the page out of the movie. Should have known better about Gibson movies.
