No way this is true. The major car mags would have reported this from their test drives.

um, you guys need to READ ...

here is the quote:

"the new coupe, with two turbochargers attached to its 3.7-liter V6, forms the basis of the much-anticipated new Nissan Skyline GT-R. The car will also headline Infiniti’s introduction to the European market, set for 2008."

ok, so anyone else NOT getting it? the mag says the 3.7 with TT FORMS the basis of the GTR. you guys are crazy thinking the G37 will have TT..

We DID read. Go back and "read" the header: "With 330hp from a twin-turbo V6, new G37 promises to be seriously quick. (Infiniti photo)"

Most here are not thinking that this is true- only calling attention to the error.

it definitely is not worded the in the clearest manner, damn those guys need to proofread. clearly their attempt is that it states that a tt version of the 3.7 is the basis for the GTR. it will be a na for sure. hope this clears things up

Ummmm this article is way off

What a bunch of idiots. The new motor isn't twin turboed. The GT-R is the only 3.7 twin turbo scheduled for release soon by nissan.

I could have sworn that I've read dozens of posts here Knocking BMW for going the Turbo route. Now Infiniti seems to be going the Turbo route and no one here has a problem with it. Double standard anyone?
