It's more like the new design has lost its personality rather than being less attractive....
I personally like the old design better, i think the 06-07 with the sport bumper is light years ahead of the rx8 styling on the G37.
We are all entitled to our own opinions, but please don't lump us all in a pile of haters....thats really not the case. After all, its pretty much subjective when comparing one car to another anyway.

I got really spoiled with the pics of the sleek looking concept, but looking at these new pics I'm not really feeling the lines of the G37. I definetly expected something more unique and edgy. I'm lovin my 06 MT that much more now, but who knows the G37 may just grow on me after seeing it in person.

Interior is still no great feat.
All in all it jsut kind of looks weird to me--like someone took the original and contorted it in weird ways. The spoiler is reminding me of the Eclipse -- yikes!

i hated the look but after seeing the thread from INFINITIMICHEAL, the car really grew on me. the shots that are on his thread really show the aggresive lines of the car. im looking forward to seeing it at the NYIAS

I find it hilarious how many people complain that it doesn't look like the concept when, other than the front bumper, this car looks almost exactly like the concept.
As far as the reactions go, I'm not surprised that a lot of people don't like it as much as the cars they have spent years developing an emotional attachment to, but I expect that will change this fall when the new owners start showing up with pics of their freshly Zaino'd Gs saying how happy they are.
