Rear camber

Hello, I'm new here, I'm having problems with my g37 convertible with the rear camber, I need an adjustable kit, I was looking but they only appear for the coupe and the suspensions are different, if anyone has done it or knows about the subject, help me

The convertible is essentially a coupe correct? Why would an adjustable camber arm be different between the two?

Major misconception. While the front suspension is identical to the Coupe, the rear is totally different. The 'Vert has the additional weight (RHT) and the rear suspension has to account for the shift in weight bias for when the roof is open (stowed in the trunk).

Can't help OP on his query, though is there any reason why camber is out of spec? Or are you looking to do something custom?

Interesting. I knew that the chassis needed to be reinforced to compensate for the weight, but the front and shock tower bracing is already being used on other FM platforms.

Is the weight delta between the vert and the sedan roughly 400lbs? Wonder how much of that is added bracing vs the collapsible roof itself.

Weight difference between the 'Vert and Coupe is ≈500lbs. give or take. Sedan shouldn't be too far off those numbers either. Between the weight of the roof panels, the hydraulics, and the other gizmos that are part of the RHT orchestra (parcel shelf, flaps, trunk motors, etc.) it adds up. And once the RHT is open most of that weight shifts from center to directly over the rear axle.

For comparison, sorta, my Zed/4 weighs in at roughly 3500lbs. Some 200lbs. or so lighter than the Coupe. While it is significantly quicker and nimbler than the G in every way, once I drop the top you can feel the weight shift and affect handling- though the "M Adaptive Suspension" adjusts to compensate. But, even that system has its own set of "quirks"

Understood. Sadly with the 'Vert those options are drastically reduced. From experience, most convertible cars get limited aftermarket support for various reasons.

That said, hopefully others will chime in with options for you to consider.

Has an alignment shop looked at your alignment and proclaimed too much negative camber? Start there before looking for problems. Check the Great Coil-over List in the suspension forum to see if there is mention of a ‘vert fitment. It’s been a couple of years since I updated it but it’s a start.
