Hey guys, I asked in the Vert section, plenty views but no response.

Is it ok to stop the roof half way?

If so do you have to continue opening or can I go to close from half way.

I'm too scared to try in case I stuff it up.

We have no support in Australia.

2015 Q60 convertible.

Yes, you can STOP the roof operation at any point within the OPEN cycle. However, caution is paramount as noted in the following from the factory manual

So, yes, OPEN to halfway, do your maintenance, then CLOSE the roof. Should have zero issues.

Unlike in my Zed/4- which has a "service mode" that sets the roof in "halfway position-" the G/Q has to be positioned manually (ironic being the tops are designed by the same company).

And if you have not already, I suggest you download a full copy of the factory service manual from NICOClub for your specific car.
