You can run the VIN using the VIN Decoder tool at the top of page under the "Tools" tab. It "might" denote this "Premier" tag much like some IPL's get denoted.
However, I would NOT pay a "premium" for "premier" as it is literally nothing different than what is already out there en masse. From my understanding, the "premier" appears to be a cross between the "Anniversary" and "IPL" editions based on the wheels and the red interior.
Don't let the seller try to convince you it is something unique and spectacular - they may have fell for the sales gimmick. You shouldn't.
Ah, a Bloomingdale Special Edition, which isn't anything other than a promotion. They couldn't even pony up a special color.
Seems you figured out the answer yourself. Cool.
"The special edition model carries the ‘Premier Edition’ tag and comes with a dark gray Platinum Graphite exterior, 19in aluminum wheels, exclusive Monaco Red leather-trimmed interior with hand-crafted and red-stained genuine maple wood trim, plus a special grille."
Seems cool. With the exception of the grill, looks like a mix and match of options from other production G37s. The pics in the article look like a standard blue convertible. Are there any pics of the actual car? I'm curious as to what they did to the grill?
Agree on the red interior. I've always liked it when others show the color in their car, but after owning the Stone interior in my 2004, then Black in the 2013, my preference for long term ownership is black.
You may be right regarding the "special grill"
The color in the link photo looks like Blue Slate, so maybe that's just a stock vert photo.
