You know, my initial reaction was to LOL at your comment. But then I remembered how back in 2011, when I had "decided" that I wanted to buy a used G37S Sedan 6MT in Lakeshore Slate. I reached out to a number of retail outlets, some personal buyers, and my own search efforts online. The realization that the 6MT Sedan was rare, and even more so because there were only 2 years of used-car availability up to that point... it took a while for that to sink in. It was kind of humbling, but eventually patience and compromise delivered. So good luck.
Better yet, fly up to Canada and buy this one: https://www.myg37.com/forums/g-s-fs/...-for-sale.html
No wait, I am going to LOL at this one. Hahahahaha.... Seriously

there’s a couple things tho that don’t seem right and please correct me if I’m wrong.
1. I thought the IPL never came in a manual transmission?
2. for the miles this has on it and the condition it’s in, doesn’t it seem like this car should have sold long ago if everything the seller is claiming is accurate?
that car looks perfect, and if it’s truly what it appears to be, and it’s really not a super complicated process to get it into the US then this car looks perfect.

If the miles match the cluster I'd say it's legit. Manual swapping a G into perfection is impossible, a quick glance underneath the dash would show if it was auto at one point.
Then you have the Malbec black situation, which was a color only given to the highest of trims which if it was ever color changed a quick glance of behind the dash would show as well.
At the same time Canadian vehicles seem to bring some of the best trims out there. This could possibly be a Malbec 6 speed coupe with IPL aero as well as a legit IPL 6mt which would make it rare.
This same rarity is what would also keep it on the market since extremely rare vehicles are sometimes treated as clones/fakes
On another note you may want to edit some of your filters when looking for a car. A convertible G37 coupe in dark colors low mileage is hard to find. You then want the unicorn with the MT and it has to either be sport or M/T. You are looking at maybe less than 50 vehicles which on top of that you want it rust free, accident free, virgin in other words. The cherry on top and I feel like you left this out on purpose was the actual price that you are willing to pay for such a beast. You will not find said car for less than 19k in the current market and the older it gets it will maintain a lot of it's value.
Lowering some of your searching standards will yield something you might settle for. Start looking for M/T sport convertible. $6k difference in price which could be used mod the car how you want, it will be enough money to make yourself the clone you'd want and still have some money left over.
A base G37 is just an engine cover and a tune away from a IPL engine/drivetrain. This is why base cars run like hell when tuned.
Lowering these filters will also lower the amount of trolling you'll receive as well since these requests arise all the time and 90% of the time folks are looking for an unrealistic unicorn.
Good luck!

Only the VIN can tell you if it is a "true" IPL. But, as BULL mentioned, you will need to adjust your search parameters and match that against what you can/ not live without.
FWIW, there is a white IPL 'Vert on eBay but that is the 7AT for ≈$33K. (trust me, I'm tempted
